Theodor König founded the König brewery in 1858, in the Lower Rhine community of Beeck. He was bucking the trend of the time – on the more complex Pilsener style of brewing.
König Pilsener is now exported to more than 40 countries.

The hops are responsible for the smooth bitter taste of König Pilsener. These are harvested from one of the most tradition-rich growing areas of Germany, the Hallertau area of Bavaria.
The mineral-rich water comes from the Hohe Mark Nature Park, one of the largest nature reserves in North Rhine-Westphalia.Enquire
